Robotic Research, a world leader in autonomous cars and trucks, is currently seeking applications for field technicians and computer technicians to work on state-of-the-art autonomous vehicle systems. Job Summary: Robotic Technician to support development of autonomous unmanned systems, with specific focus on installation, cabling, fabrication, mechanical and test. Experience with robotics a must; experience in DoD field a plus. Technician will support autonomous testing, cable building, and fabrication of parts for air and ground vehicles ranging from 20 pounds to 25 tons. Experience with military vehicles a plus. Work may include maritime, air, and ground vehicles. Ability and desire to travel is vital; expect 30% travel or more.
Duties include: Installation, cabling, fabrication, mechanical troubleshooting, vehicle maintenance and testing. Travel for field installation will be required. Testing in outdoor conditions will be required.
Qualifications: HS graduate with military service or direct robotic vehicle experience. AA degree in mechanical/electrical field or equivalent preferred. Candidate should be a flexible team player with good oral skills, able to work effectively in a very fast-paced environment.
U.S. citizenship required. Ability to pass a government security clearance investigation and background check a must.
