The SANDI Program uses and adapts CAMS JCTD GFE’d equipment to conduct an operational assessment of a Supervised Autonomy capability used for operating remotely out in front of a convoy to defeat victim-operated IEDs.

The SANDI Program uses and adapts CAMS JCTD GFE’d equipment to conduct an operational assessment of a Supervised Autonomy capability used for operating remotely out in front of a convoy to defeat victim-operated IEDs; Data collection events, using two unmodified CAMS HMMWVs, will be conducted to gain insights into the operational environment and operational application. This is followed by modification of hardware and software to adapt CAMS HMMWVs into a supervised autonomous capability.
