Kyle Murphy, a contractor from Robotic Research LLC, facilitates non-GPS enabled positioning, navigation and timing technology evaluation with Clark Bristow, an electronics engineer from the Army Aviation and Missile Research Development and Engineering Center, during a technical experimentation at Muscatatuck Urban Training Center, Ind., March 28, 2018. Recently, U.S. Special Operations Command’s Science and Technology Directorate tested some new technologies to see if they could help the warfighter. The experimentation provided special operations units the opportunity to evaluate new tech and to provide its developers feedback.
