DC Inno Beat: Robotics Company 3D Printing PPE
Clarksburg’s Robotic Research is making reusable face shields for the region’s health care workers — with 3D printers. The company typically provides robotic tech to private and public sectors, and is now among the players arming hospital staff with personal protective equipment, for which an across-the-board shortage remains, in the fight against COVID-19. Robotic Research has made nearly 100 face shields, Technical.ly reported.
The robotic tech solutions provider joins a growing roster of businesses diving into the PPE game (just last week, Framebridge did something similar).
