Innovating Offroad Autonomous Mobility
Robotic Research was created in 2002 as a spin-off
from the Intelligent Systems Division of the National Institute of Standards
and Technology (NIST). The Robotic Research team has been involved in the development
of off-road mobile platforms and software since the early 1990s. This
team has helped the technology evolve from its infancy in teleoperation
to high levels of autonomy were we currently strive to push the limits
of the technology.
